This Silicone Neonatal Test Lung from Newport Medical is made for use in ventilator testing and training.  This neonatal test lung is a pleated free-style bellows test lung with endotracheal-tube style fitting for simulation of neonatal through small pediatric patients.

Simulate patient triggering on the ventilator by pulling the small tab out from the bottom of the test lung.  This creates negative pressure, similar to pressure associated with breathing effort.

The test lung has a capacity of up to 60 mL, with a mean compliance of ~0.8 mL/cmH20.
